E350 8 lugs 2004 brakes problem conversion
Hi,
Did someone ever tried converting the front brakes on an E-350 2004 to the new style 2008 and up?
I heard that they are much better and that they will fit on the older models.
Also, who sells those ?

Rock Auto has rotors, calipers and brackets with part numbers unique for 08-14. Someone will know if they fit your '04 knuckles which is possible since they use the same ball joints, bearings and tie rods.

The '04 E350 brakes should be adequate for that GVW, the above update was basically intended for the earlier E250's with 8 lug wheels, essentially they become E350 front brakes.
Do keep in mind E150's after 2007 became E250's chassis-wise----previously E150's had 5 lug wheels and a significantly lower GVW and cargo rating.
