I might be buying a new work van from RI and could fly out there
and drive it home, or use a transport company to deliver the 6500 lb
van to mpls mn. Anybody used a transporting company to move a vehicle?
I took a risk and bought one without seeing it person. I did have a "friend of a friend" check it out for me though.
Anyway, I went to uship and got some quotes. Through the seller I found a much cheaper shipper (40% less than U ship). Minneapolis to Western PA (Mercer-16137) cost $895.
A cutaway van with a "cabover" box or is it something I've never seen before? I think of cabover as being where the cab tilts foreward for engine access.
I have used a few transport company's to ship trucks and bronco's from out west back to Indiana AND the only one I would personally recommend is Alpine Transport Inc (Dave). There are alot of bad transporters out there so be careful and do your research on them first.
