my 2008 F350 6.4 has an issue :^/...after about 10 to 15 minutes of driving all of a sudden it revs with the same amount of throttle pressure & has no power...any one with experience on this I hope I described it ok
I'm going to guess po088. Mine is doing the same thing but only with the load of my fifth wheel on it. Saving up time and money for a new high pressure fuel pump. Luckily, we mostly only drive it to tow and I have a commuter car and another pickup so I can replace it when I have time. Hopefully yours is an easier and cheaper fix.
I took it to Ford & had a diagnostic done on it and it came back with replace injection pump..I paid to have the reflash & didnt make any improvement I was quoted $1156.69 for the part & $1298 for labor is that going rate or should I shop around?
