Anyone recognize this part?

Greetings all. Just put my 360 back in my 70 F250. Then noticed this part on the bench. Anyone know what it goes to? Not starting the motor until then. Thanks for the help. Also for mechanical clutches where does the fork return spring mount to?

Derick

I don't recognize that part but the spring goes from the clutch fork forward to a spot on the frame close to the Z bar.

Off hand, I don't know what the parking brake cable assembly looks like on an F250 but, my first thought is it looks like a component that could be from a parking brake cable system.

This is just purely a speculative guess.

Like going to the Doctor and him saying, "Hmm, never seen that before".

Not a good sign.

Sorry, no idea

You might be on the right track, it might be a part of one of his tools.

I've worked on a lot of those pickups and don't recall ever seeing that part.
