Front Engine Mount
I know how everyone here likes photos. Has anyone replaced the front engine mount for an F
100 w/ 215 six? At the top of the photo is the reproduction mount. At the bottom is the original. I do not see a way to use this mount. Am I missing something?

I tapped on the back side of that threaded insert on the original mount, and look what popped out...
I feel a little stupid, but at least I can finish securing the motor to the chassis now. And, should anyone else have the same question about 215 mounts, I'll have an answer for them. The lesson here: if you don't know what else to do about a mechanical problem, try hitting it with a hammer.
