Vacuum canister
The vacuum canister on my 78 bronco only has 1 line going to it from the trans. Is it suppose to be hooked up to the manifold to?

My mistake the trans goes to the manifold. What is the canister for can I just delete it?

It's a vacuum reservoir, keep it as it's there for a reason. Usually for when the vacuum induced by the rest of the system isn't enough.
