I just took off my factory crossbars and am going to get rid of them. Figured I'd throw it up here to see if anybody wants them. You can have them for the cost of shipping and a 6 pack of beer. Shouldn't be too much. They are already in a box and packed. Paint is flaking so you would have to spend a little time to clean them up if you want pristine bars.
So you want me to ship you a six pack in return for the bars?! Seems it would be better off for me to send you $10
Good luck!
$10 for a six pack. That buys a 12' er of the cheap stuff I drink. But thanks for the advice. There would be no need for a 6 pack too be mailed to me. I will be much more specific next time to avoid any confusion for you.
what's your lo-cal ?? I'll take them BEFORE they get tossed but I don't really need them, SO if there is someone else that can't live W/O them they should have them. THANKS
I had a broken one last year, and one of our members offered me his (thanks Steve). But I actually found a set at my local Ford Dealer, don't remember the price but they are cheap and still available. For others that may be looking for them.
Hey rustrocket where are you near san diego? I am in Hemet by Temecula would be nice to meet up. I don't need the crossbars but maybe we could help each other on projects some time.

I work in San Jacinto. Sounds good. Once work calms down for me I'll try and meet up with you.
Did you replace them with anything, and if so, what?

A bit pricey for the complete system, but bolt-on without having to improvise or make anything is worth something to some people. With some shopping around and coupons, one could knock the price down quite a bit.
