Wanted to report back on the deletes performed last week. I always like to hear about the aftermath so I wanted to share.
2012 F350 6.7
35" Toyo's
Ready Lift Stage 4
Engine was Bone Stock before deletes. But now:
- DPF Delete: 4" AFE SS Down Pipe back w/6"Tip
- EGR Delete: River City Diesel (Complete Delete, EGR Removed)
- AFE Cold air intake
- SCT Livewire TS Plus with custom tunes
- SCT EGT Probe
Truck had 140,000 miles prior to deletes. Averaged 17.2 MPG on Highway now getting 21.4 (Yes that is hand calc.)
As you can see in the pic's the EGR was almost toast and that is on a truck driven 95% highway miles with minimal idle time. Half the bolts on the original exhaust were broken due to heat and age so it was time for her to come off.
Performance is unreal. I have not ventured out of the mild tune but what a difference.
Truck sounds awesome but is no louder than stock in the cab at highway speeds. Many have said it and I will say it again......One Regret......Wish I would have done it much sooner.
After having 4 navistar company trucks that couldn't stay out of the shop because of egr and dpf issues that is the only way I would own a diesel. When I bought my own rig(cat c15) I made sure to get one without any of the egr, dpf, def, etc.
Bohawg, nice work, I've been contemplating deleting all the exhaust crap on my 2011 since buying her new, would it be possible for you to list or forward to me directly the company's names web site info, part#'s, cost, any other info I might need, and did you do the delete yourself, could it be done by my myself with out a lift etc? Thanks

Send me a PM and I will shoot you a note back with my Phone # if none of this makes sense or if you have questions.
AFE Exhaust 49-43035NM
AFE Cold Air 51-11872-1
SCT Tuner 5015P
SCT EGT 9017
I don't have a model # on the EGR Delete but it came from River City Diesel in Peoria IL. I have heard recent horror stories with a few of the tried and true EGR deletes from guys that used to be really good but shipped their production to China and the quality/customer service has gone down the drain.
Lift Makes Zero difference.
I found a local guy to do mine which I suggest. The EGR is not easy to remove.....and don't just unplug it. You also have to buy you SCT loaded with tunes that will allow deleting of the EPA crap. Cost all depends on what you go with and the shop you find. Safe bet is $2,500-$3,500 including labor.
As I said before, If you want to discuss it send me a PM and I will get you my phone number.
