No Fuel? Grounding Issues?

OK, Frankenstein is almost alive! I realized after some research and a few discussuons that my 92 CAB wiring Harness won't match my 87 engine Harness... SOOO I pulled the Dash back out and replaced it with the original 87 Wiring Harness and amazingly enough it turned over and cranked. It did not fire, and when I turn the key to the run position I don't hear the fuel pump energize... My fuel pump relay wiring was a bit messed up, so I bought a new one (with Pigtail). I am going to put that in tonight, BUT... My fuel pump is currently held in/up by Zip ties. I need to find or make a bracket since the original bracket was just a pile of rust. QUESTION: Does the pump need to be attached to the frame(ie.. bolted/strapped) with something metal, to complete the ground circuit? Also on the subject of grounds. I currently have 5 hooked up, 1 = Engine to Frame, 2 = Headlight Harness to Frame, 3 = Wiring harness (below wiper motor) to firewall, and 4 = To fender above the EEC (in front of Driver) Are there others? (I have one additional inside the cab to the Dash frame)
