I need a 5/8" locking hitch pin with a greater span than the traditional 3-5/8" to use as one of the two pins for the adjustable ball on the hitch below. It's quite evident without a locking pin the ball assy. or even worse trailer can be stolen by simply knocking out the 2 ball pins. I've been unsuccessful locating a locking pin with greater than the span noted above. Anyone know of a source?
My other option would be to have a machine shop turn down the dead end of mine but I'm probably looking at least $30 to do so.
If you have a Tractor Supply store nearby, they have bins of clevis and locking pins though have no idea of the diameters or lengths though for sure some are 5/8" dia.
