Question about new Ranger p/u's,

I was at Lowes the other day getting some lumber loaded and the guy next to me was having a bunch of 4' x 8' panels of drywall put in his new Ford ranger. The Lowes guys had to tilt the drywall up on the wall of one side of the bed to get it in. I thought it was going to just push the bed wall over. Will all the new rangers not have a least 4' between the inside of the bedwalls? It wasnt a stepside either , had the fenderwells inside like a styleside, not a good design for sure, cause imo , p/u trucks are for hauling boards and booty, and to be idolized, but, not necessarily in that order

Question about new Ranger p/u's,

The owners manual shows how to use two 2x6's cut to about 53" long that support 4x8 sheets even with the top of the wheel wells. I have hauled over a hundred sheets of 3/4" plywood in mine 8-9 sheets at a time.

Question about new Ranger p/u's,

Yeah, the Ranger has 40" of clearance between the wheel-wells alone...so I don't have any idea why they had to load that drywall the way they did.
