Shock question
I have a 52 F1 that I have been working on for 5 years and have finally gotten on the road. It has a 302 with a 4speed tranny. The front suspension is all stock with posie super slide springs. I bought new shocks that were original replacements but when I hit a bump, the front end sounds like it's falling out from under the truck. It seems like my rebound travel may be too short. Anybody running a similar set up?any recommendations on shocks?

Depending upon how low your engine sits you may have to install some air bags between the spring/axle mount and the frame. You can then adjust the air to control how much jounce you get.
