That looks like the one I bought off Ebay. It depends on what you expect. If you want the original look, you'll be disappointed. If you just need a new pad for your driver, it's ok. It's not molded, but it fit fairly well with a little trimming here and there, and a couple extra mounting clips installed. It's a slick rubber face with insulation on the back. Holes are precut, or at least stamped. It sure beats the old smelly, stained, and torn original in my truck. If you want the best, I guess you have to spend more.
Thanks for posting , I just ripped mine out as it was a mess .
I was going to make my own with some tar paper and jute padding .
But this is way easier
I'd rather spend the extra money for a good one from Carpenters. The heater and steering column will be out this winter so that will be a good time to do it.
Here are some pics I haven't installed it yet. I just placed it in the truck. It comes in a box rolled up. For my truck it will be fine lots of modifications coyote gas pedal, vintage air ac hydro boost , etc. It didn't make sense to cut up a $300+ and for $80 shipped didn't pay to trace my old one. Even Dennis Carpenters is not like the original its abs plastic . DCs is also 249.95 plus shipping which I think is truck freight like another $100 or so. I'm sure DC's is much better quality just ordered $250 of parts that came today and they look very nice. The ebay pad seams to be some king of rubber with jute back, did have a smell when I first opened box but I'll check again tomorrow.
I have to take gas pedal out and emergency brake to check fit.
LoL if I was in CA I would was 19* the other day in NY. Its super flexible, Like I said i Just threw it up there for pics, Figure I'll warm the garage up good and get it to mold or follow firewall best I can. The vintage air unit covers most of it on pass side. I'll post up when I get it done.
Sorry about that I've been in California for so long I forget that not everyone is having 80-90 weather in October .
Don't be sorry just curse you guys out when i see rust free trucks for under a grand lol. weather has been crazy snow one day and three days later almost 80*
