Anybody have the part number for the hose that goes from degas tank to engine. May have to order it though even my ford dealership looked at me like I was from Mars when I asked them about it.

Thanks!!can you believe 4 different parts stores and one ford dealership had no idea what the hell I was talking about.when I called it a degas tank at the ford dealership he said "what is that,is that back by the gas tank somewhere" I said let me put it a way you might understand that's when I called it a coolant overflow.i knew then they wouldn't be able to find it.

It amazes me as someone who worked in parts for over four years at an implement dealer how some parts dept. folks can't or won't find a part for someone.
It took me about a half minute on google to find the hose part number, that is a sale lost for one some of those places you stopped.
Yes, I got frustrated at times looking up a part number for someone that took me some time, only to find it was discontinued or out of stock...or had such little margin we ended up losing money, but I saw it time and again where those same customers ended up coming back for something else, or ended up trading machines, mowers, etc because of our reputation.
Granted, I had the luxury of knowing a 6.0 degas bottle term, but still.
Google is your friend more often than not.
