99 ranger four wheel drive will not engage
I bought a 99 ranger few months ago cant the 4x4 has not worked in the truck for about 4 years. Bought it off my dad. He hasn't figured it out the t case locks in the drive shaft spins but hubs will not lock in. Has new hubs in it and still not working. Trying to get it fixed so I can park the diesel for the winter and run the ranger. Any suggestions would be super helpful!

Welcome to the Ranger & BSeries forum. 3:07 AM post from Pa. You been up all night worrying about this???? lol
A link from our "Tech Info" thread to a multi page posting read on the PVH system operation & woes, is a good place to start. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ub-system.html Since its vacuum operated, & these lines & fittings are 16 years old, vacuum leaks would be a good place to begin a trouble shoot if you want to stay with the PVH system for convenience sake. The system likes to be exercised weekly, or at least monthly. Many have opted for manual lockers because of operational problems. Some thoughts for starters, let us know how your trouble shoot goes.

Here is a PVH diagnostic post by member Rockledge that'll likely be helpful in getting your trouble shoot under way. http://rockledge.home.comcast.net/~r...iagnostics.pdf
