RABS Valve Code 4
I have a RABS and brake light that stays on all the time. I checked the codes and from the ABS and I get a code 4 (RABS Valve Switch closed). I know very little about ABS on these vehicles. Should I go out and replace the RABS valve or is there something else that could likely be causing this problem? Thanks in advance.

John , Do you have a wiring diagram for your truck that includes the RABS Module ? There are some basic tests to do with an Ohm Meter . Check all the wiring & connections to the module to make sure they are secure .

There are four striped wires leaving the valve. If you could tell me what the resistances that I should be getting are, I can go and check these. I have an old analog meter. Thanks.
