12 volt constant for camper

I have a 2020 F350 DRW Crew Cab and when i hook up to my travel trailer i do not have a constant power to charge battery or run my trailer jack. Why is that? I saw something about jumping the relay but would like more info before i do that.

Sounds like you have an open circuit in that line... bad fuse or relay? Under the hood...driver's side. It's in you owners manual. Lots have found a bad connection at the inside of the 7 way plug. BTW it's a 2010...not 20 LOL

What Bud said. You do not need to jump any relay. Your jack is fused off your battery, so power for that would be a problem if you battery is dead. You do have to have the ignition on to have power down the charge lead to the seven pin.

Do check your owner's manual as this problem should not be hard to resolve.

I found a popped fuse in the relay box under the hood that is dedicated to the 12V on the 7 pin. Thank you all for your help.
