No, Crystal does not check in on weekends. Look in your manual and see if any number you can call. There is a number to call Ford for towing at no or little cost if long distance to nearest Ford shop...

Thanks, but I need to get Ford reps involved in this! Already have called the Ford Emergency towing number. They are coming to get the truck and trailer! I am going to haul it to the dealer where I bought the damn thing.....at my own expense probably! This is enough!

Hey 99150

I feel your pain. I just sent 36 days in the shop with the same issue. Here is some advice. If you use the Motorcraft PM22A fuel treatment, the little cardboard disc will stick to the top of the bottle and in up in your tank. Please have the tech RR the tank and look in the sending unit. The disc is hard to find.

They looking in my tank twice without finding it. It took the third time to get it right. Good Luck

Ok, boyz n gurlz. Talked to the mechanic....not the service writer.....he figures the fuel pickup in the tank has malfunctioned! He is an older guy, with real mechanical experience, and has seen others do this. He explained how it is constructed to keep from sucking air when the tank gets below 1/4, and it makes sense, so now wait till new part gets here tomorrow and get on the road again!
Service writers don't know squat!😀 So now, we will see!

Hopefully they get it this time and get you back rolling Don. For the sake of curiosity, how many miles are on your truck?
