I need to replace door seals on my supercab and was considering doing the rest of the cab/windows at the same time. The kit from LMC is only $150 before shipping for all of the seals where just the door seals are $65. I'm just worried about dealing with all of that glass and breaking something because I havent done it before. What would a shop usually charge for all of the window seals including the rear split window? and is this a project I should consider doing myself?
I got my window seal kit from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard (great product) and replaced both inner and outer anti rattle/upper and back and division bar seals with the glass still installed. Wing seal was fine. Does you SC have tilt out/opening windows?
Just removed the bolt at the bottom of the fwd track, below the regulator. To leave the door glass installed.
If you take it to a place that does it all the time, they should have the experience, tools, tips and tricks and you should get a guarantee on breakage.
Thank you for the info. I do not have the opening rear window on my supercab. None of the fixed glass is leaking but it is starting to crack so I was considering doing it all at the same time as the doors and windows
