2003 F-350 Crew Basic

After selling my 96 PowerStoke a few years ago just had to get another. Money is tight but I found a 2003 F-350 4x4 7.3L I could get. This is the really basic model with only the auto tranny and 'bout nothing else.
I can live without most but really would like the cruise back.
Questions:
If I can find a wrecked truck with the cruise what parts do I need?
Is the wiring already in the harness?
Is it worth the hassle?

Thanks
JT

I did it it the other way so I assume it will work backwards compatible. I took the wheel and harness for a 2000 and installed it in an 07. The harness did have to be added on the column though along with changing the clockspring in the steering wheel. Once that was done, it worked with no further programming. You need to verify there are two psi switches on the brake master cylinder.
