off road package

What exactly is the difference between an 2000 f-150 4x4 and a 2000 4x4 f-150 off road package?

I'm not toally sure about a 2000 but I just bought a '03, and I don't think its changed that much in three years. I know in the '03 you get 17" wheels standard, 4x4 skid plates, Heavy Duty Rancho Shocks, a little more aggressive tire, I think you also get the locking rear end, but don't quote me on that one. I didn't like the bouncier ride with the HD shocks, but hey thats just me, its still a FORD! Hope I helped!

no u dont get a locker. and the off road has stiffer shocks, so if u ride on the road alot, dont get the offroad and ur truck will ride like a lincoln town car.
