So I've had this truck for about a year and a half and it has never had automatic daytime running lights. When the headlight switch is off there are no lights on. Today while driving I was waiting at a light behind someone and noticed that my headlights were on?! I cycled the switch a few times and they shut off again. Shortly after I got home, I tried again but they would not shut off. They DID shut off when i put the key into off position.
Just tried it again to see what would happen so I put the key into the on position. Lights stayed off. Then I Cycled the lights on and off and they stayed on again. Turned the key off and the headlights turned off. Ebrake has no affect either way.
Just wondering if this is a headlight switch issue or has my truck always had DRL and they are slowly coming back to life?
