So the skinny is I got a 2009 F350 6.4l CCLB 4x4. 160k miles.
Biggest problem I got is that the second turbos veins are staying closed. I unplugged the VGT sensor and it opens up but I have no power. I plug it back in and the dam thing closes instantly and hisses and I have no power.
I'm positive it's not any leakage from hoses or clamps or y-pipes.
I've checked the codes on it and it gave me P179A, and P2263.
Ive seen this twice with trucks that were totally stock it did that until the truck was warm enough to regen.
I doubt the vanes will ever stick; I had my VVT unplugged for years and when I plugged the wire back in to go trade it in, it worked perfectly like the day I unplugged it.
