Stuttering

Noticed this weekend that my 87 F150 seemed to "stutter" a little on the highway. I first chalked it up to being old. But it seemed more prominent tonight. Gears shift smoothly so it doesn't seem like a trans issue. The only thing I can think of is maybe a bad plug/wire. Any other possible easy check ideas? Seems worse the faster the truck is going. Any ideas would be appreciated.

if it's carb, I would check the jets and clean the carb bowl. EFI, i would check the fuel injectors.

It's EFI. Going to try some fuel injector cleaner and see if that helps.
