97' HD 460 start trouble

97' HD 460 start trouble
first start of the day..turns over fast and trys but won't catch. turn off key and try start #2 and it starts on first rotation and will continue all day. Next morning..same thing?? Wondering if it's a fuel problem, air in lines or leak or wha? Hope some one knows cause it's weird. Thanks

Sounds like weak fuel pump.
Either check it with a fuel pressure tester or you can try cycling the key on and then off 2-3 times and then try to start it. If its the fuel pump, its on borrowed time.
Check it correctly with fuel pressure tester and if its marginal, get a new pump before your left stranded sooner than later.
