HELP
I answered my own tread. It does not fit radiator hose wrong side and dipstick hole. Thank You for reading. a little help needed. My 1987 F-250 4x4 with a 351w needs a rebuild. So I bought a replacment engine on craigslist. It is a 1990 as far as I know according to the seller. It had EFI to which I'm changing to carb. THe EFI was not complete and my carb off 87 is.First of all I'm still using the 87 so I don't want to tear apart until new motor is ready. So I put a add on craigslist to get rid of the EFI stuff. Got a trade offer for a timing cover with water pump new. My question is the timing cover and water pump are cast iron. Is this going to be a problem. I installed fit just fine. Do you see any problem.

So 351w confussed
Well back again fighting all the different parts on my 1987 351w Vin. H. I should have waited until I took the old engine out before starting rebuild. I have bought (2) water pumps that Oreilly's said was the right one. WRONG. So today I pulled all of the front accessories off . The power steering pump bracket does not fit the water pump I installed. 
So I took the water pump off the original engine and low and behold its cast iron. The only # I can find on it is 80818-1 .The one oreilly's sold me is aluminum and I already mounted.
Where can I find the right parts. HELP
