Transmission cooler

I ordered a b&m supercooler part # 70274 for when my new transmission arrives with a 2500 stall converter. Question is my truck already has a small transmission cooler in front of the transmission and lines going into the radiator. Should I just replace the stock one with this one or?

Leave the radiator cooler in place. Replace the stock aux cooler with the new one.

Cool. I went out and looked at the stock setup today and it runs like this: transmission> radiator> cooler> back to transmission.

Next question is the cooler has 1/2" npt female inlet/outlets. How do I properly connect this cooler to the stock hard lines?

There are other options....Mine did not have 2nd cooler pre installed.... I just cut the hard lines flared the ends and clamped down the hoses..

Flaring the ends on the hard line connecting the silicone hose is not needed but helps secure the hose.

Transmission cooler

Thanks for the links toplait. Is 11/32 the correct size hose to clamp to the stock hard lines? I think they're 5/16 but not sure if that's inside or outside diameter.
