I'm just thinking of all these extinct services and deliverymen, there must have been a half dozen of them every day practically, keeping an eye on things. Also the Rag man and the peddlers and Tin man.
Hahahaaaahhahahaaa good times.
My favorite part was the cream on top of the milk. We made butter, honey butter, real whipped cream... ahhhh what a great time. Hullin peas and snappin beans...
I remember them, they were similar to the current UPS vans, and they drove them standing up with a little stool for a seat. stick shift was over 3 feet long.
Came across this today, ***warning:brand-X alert*** Still some cool stuff.[/url]
"Brand-x" LOL. Didn't get it until I looked. I like the Advance Design trucks. I'm a Ford guy but I'm not strongly anti-Chevy. I would much rather have a '48 Ford, though.
1972 F6000, same specs as previous truck. VIN: K61VVM00368. There was one other that I never got a pic of: a 1970, VIN K60VEH932390. They were junked in the late seventies and the engines were transplanted into LN800s. The '72 I saw I the local JY about 20 years ago, I should have grabbed the F6000 emblems.
