I'm just thinking of all these extinct services and deliverymen, there must have been a half dozen of them every day practically, keeping an eye on things. Also the Rag man and the peddlers and Tin man.

And the Ice Cream man.

I do remember the milkman. We also had a bread man, I can remember mom buying those carmel rolls as a special treat on Saturday mornings!
Sure you're not remembering the guy who delivered the sausage?

Nope! I don't resemble the milkman! Lol! I should have said his family was friends with my family. But he did come in and visit sometimes.

I remember them, they were similar to the current UPS vans, and they drove them standing up with a little stool for a seat. stick shift was over 3 feet long.

This was a pretty hefty one. 1969 F6000, Cat 1160, 5 spd. with a 2 spd. rear. Chrome grille gave it a nice look. VIN: K60UEF74837

"Brand-x" LOL. Didn't get it until I looked. I like the Advance Design trucks. I'm a Ford guy but I'm not strongly anti-Chevy. I would much rather have a '48 Ford, though.

A Model A ice cream truck. I like that it has bells rather than those irritating canned jingles.

Everytime I see this heading in my control panel, I think it says "MILF trucks". Is that bad? LOL

I'm also partial to the Advance Design series. I owned two 53's at one time.

1972 F6000, same specs as previous truck. VIN: K61VVM00368. There was one other that I never got a pic of: a 1970, VIN K60VEH932390. They were junked in the late seventies and the engines were transplanted into LN800s. The '72 I saw I the local JY about 20 years ago, I should have grabbed the F6000 emblems.
