Hey guys here is a pic of the flyer to the cruise in I talked to Cheif about. The address is
West Side Cruise in
3385 Crider Road
Rocky Face Ga 30740
They usually have a good turn out. Sometimes close to 200 cars. Its the most laid back cruise in I've ever been to. It starts at 2:00 pm and lasts till everone decides to leave. We try and get there around 1 to get our spot.
You can look it up on Facebook and see some pics from the earlier events.
Had a great time at the cruise in today. Meet up with my buddy Dean and then we cruised over. There had to be close to 200 vehicles there. There were 10 of us with Lightnings!!
I worked on the truck a little bit. Got the intake parts in. Right now the filter is open under the hood, more parts on order to take it on out to the grill. I did start it. I got an exhaust leak on the up pipe and I think it is overfueling. The gauge test good at glowshift so it got to be in the wiring. It should be back Monday to Tuesday.
I am driving the motorhome down to Ft Benning today so no work on the trucks today. I dropped off the riding mower last weekend to get it repaired. Always seems like I have too much to do and not enough time, plus the guy does good work and his cost is reasonable. I took a man day yesterday to the cruise in, the wife and daughter went too and we all had a great time. Weather was cool enough that the expecting wife was not miserable.
This is the last weekend for caffeine and octane so it looks like I will not make it till next year. I need to do some serious cleanup to not be ashamed to pop the hood and show the interior. Man it is cold outside this morning.

Thanks Dean and it was great to meet yours too. I have a long way to go to be even close to you and Chris's truck. I have my work cut out for me over the winter to get it to where she needs to be.
It was 35 this morning when I left the house heading to Ft Benning.

Who was it back during the summer bragging about the difference in tempurture from the mountains to the rest of us?
[QUOTE=ChiefM;15726375]That was GTfun not me. I like the fact we have no gnats compaired to South GA and the COOLER weather is nice but cold/snow is not
Any more I can handle mild cold better than I can handle hot and real cold.
