MSD ignition

Again, like i said before, i can only speak for myself, i put one on my 300/6 and noticed a difference enough to think it is worth the 133 bucks compaired to other mods out there.

Looking at the CraneCams unit for the '91 F-150. Their literature looks promising. Does anyone have the Hi-6S unit with the recommended coil? Any improvement?

a lot of lightning guys and a buddy of mine (chevyII) are using the crane boxes. my buddys failed twice and a few of the lightning guys have complained of hi6 boxes going south. but crane is good about honoring the warranty. but who cares about that when youre stranded. havent heard much else about them. basically everyone is gonna have a different experience or opinion about the different products out there. guess youve gotta find out for yourself. ive had good luck with my MSD. and my truck is daily driven.

well, the adjustable dials are 44.95 in summit. they come in 3000-5200, 4600-6800 and up all the way to 10600-12800(not that any of us would need that high...heh). but i still cant find the other adjustable one...still lookin.
the part number for the 3000-5200 dial is msd-8670

hope this helps

I too noticed a difference in my rig. It pulled alot stronger at lower end and I noticed that I did not downshift as much. As for a performance gain for the $133 you pay for it, it is worth it.....

I have the MSD 6A with a blaster coil on my 1993 F-150. I noticed a difference two but mainly in mileage. I got 2mpg better with it. I can't honestly tell a difference in performance, but I'm sure there's a little difference.
