i got a FORD TFI MODULE CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT REIMBURSEMENT CLAIM FORM in the mail the other day. how do i know if my truck has TFI? '87 F-150 302? (lol, refer to the 351? post) 4wd.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 24-Feb-02 AT 11:00 PM (EST)]If your truck has a rectangle shaped thing on the distributor with some wires plugged into it you have TFI. I belive they used them on EFI motors up until somewhere around 94

If your truck isn't fuel injected then you don't have one. They had them up until 1992, when they went to fender mount. Your truck would have originally had a TFI module on the distributor.
