I have a 97' HD , just got it 4 months ago and I love it. 4X4 F250 460 w/E40D. I discovered a problem...the seal between the 3rd brake lite on the roof was gone and I am seeing rust spots coming thru the paint in the corners and along the windshield!!!! I know it needs attention now but my question is this...is the roof 2 pcs, sandwiched together(top and bottom) or what. Before I take my headliner out and everything else, a few suggestions of experience would be a lot of help. I have got to act fast and need some help.

There's the skin you see on the outside, and a brace similar to under the hood beneath the headliner.
