"Pull the plastic inner fenders, and go through the wheel wells" was the advise given to me by a former ford mechanic who did many an EFI 460 manifold replacement.

Well there you have it. No gasket and NO locking bolts required. I do recommend throwing the Banks bolts in the trash and getting some GOOD hardware from stage 8 or such (you do NOT need locking)

Since you guys are talking headers I'd like to piggy back if possible.

Can I use pre 87 headers on an 89 460?

NO, EFI are different than Carb
