2016 F550
Hi I'm brand new to this thread. I currently own an 08 F450 which I carry an Eagle Cap 1165 on. Not only am I slightly overloaded but my F450 has recently become a shop queen. Started with revealing my engine and a new steering box. Required cab off engine out. Up to this point I had had no trouble at all, loved my truck. Since then nothing but engine warning lights. First it was the exhaust gas sensors, then PCM. All covered by warranty but I want to go camping!!!!! Looking at a new 2016 F550 for extra payload, wondering what the recent experience has been with this truck? Any comment appreciated.
