Dash lights
OK new question. I have a 1980 Ford F100 custom and the lights on the instrument cluster bezel do not match up to what they are supposed to be. For example the right turn signal flashes the brake warning spot. The wires for the gauge cluster don't look like they have been messed with. A little confused on this, does it mean it's not the correct bezel or is something else wrong? Everything else seems to work fine, All the gauges and and dash lighting. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I believe there were some differences from the 1980 and the later years. Someone has been in there swapping stuff. See if you can get in there and move stuff around to it's proper location in the top of the dash. What you are complaining about is not in the lower part of the cluster but the upper part correct? I can't remember exactly, but can't they be moved around?

Take a stroll through the subforums and the sticky, it's described in there... the 1980 wiring is different, and it sounds like somebody installed a 1981+ cluster - probably because it has a tachometer or some such and the original didn't.
