Hi I have a 75 f100. I am getting closer to finishing my project. Well I have all new bulbs and flashers. I can't get my blinkers to blink. I can make them blink manually when I move the handle on the steering column . When I turn the headlights on I can't even get them to blink. I'm lost. Please give me some suggestions . Thanks Mike
first guess - bad flasher grounds. Second guess - did you maybe replace the bulbs with LEDs? When you switch to low-resistance LEDs there isn't enough resistance for a conventional flasher to make the bulbs flash, so you have to change to a flasher which cuts off and on electronically no matter what the resistance of the bulbs is.

TWO different flashers:
T/S flasher plugs into the back of the instrument cluster.
H/D 4 way flasher (has a louder CLICK) nestles into a bracket that's retained to the backside of the dash w/a screw.
Humm, 40 year old turn signal switch.
Try replacing it. After a looong term in service, they do tend to wear out.
Usually is just that simple...

Should problem persist after new turn-signal switch install, drop back in & we'll find & fix it.
