Weekend camping trip to the Palm Springs area. Temperature was over 100 degrees for most of the trip. Trailer is just shy of 11k. Not too many grades on this trip. Really impressed with the mileage I got. My lie-o-meter is usually pretty close to hand calculated.
Looks pretty nice...price too.
Kinda reminds me of the campground at Lake Skinner down near Temecula.
A very nice place to camp and visit the wineries too.
Thanks for the pic's.
Now that is my kind of campground. Great looking rig!
Thanks! We've had it a year now and have done 7 trips so far. A few minor issues like leaking axles seals and most recently needed a new roof but for the most part the trailer has been awesome! I originally started towing it with a 2013 F250 6.2L with 3.73 gears. And while it did an admirable job doing it, no comparison to towing it with this 2014 F350 6.7L. Much more stable towing experience and the performance is simply amazing!
That's about the same mileage that I was getting after we got out of the @#$% bio fuel part of the Mid West and East. We just put our 5er back on its 'seasonal' site on Lake Champlain, 110 miles North this past weekend and the local 10%+/- bio crud drops it to 11. 5.
Fantastic looking CG - wish we could have found one like that We might still be there.
