6.0 + K&N = ?????

Looking at an 06 f250, noticed in the pictures that it has the K&n intake system.
There is 181k on truck, one owner... Should I steer clear of truck or not worry that much about the k&n(have heard its way bad for the motors) and demand a stock air box and filter reinstalled? Thanks for any advice ahead of time!

More things to look at than just a K&N filter. Read the tech folder for new truck purchase yet?

Watched tons of videos and read lots of material on what to look for when buying an 6.0 powerstroke. Plan on taking a ScanGauge 2 with me to the test drive... Just curious about the K&N bud.

Been said they dust turbos, thay say that about anything other than OEM. I've ran an aFe for years, turbo fins look fine to me.

I've been running an AFE as well with the same results.

Here's mine, I don't let it get dirty nor do I drive dirt roads...Well sometimes I do

It's been on since PO at least 100k miles, I've pulled my turbo about 3 times in 2 years and there is zero signs of problems...
