Hey everyone. I have a subscription to Diesel Power Magazine, and every issue I see adds for S&B Filters. Anyone have any experience with these? Good, bad, indifferent.
I know there are lots of people that say stick with the factory Donaldson filter, which is cool. I don't have any grief so far and I am in no hurry to rush out and buy a replacement performance filter. Just curious if anyone have used a S&B or if anyone has done some testing on how efficient they really are compared to stock and if there is a noticealbe performace difference.

Thanks in advance.
Many of the 6.0 owners who race and build 6.0 race motors have tested air intakes extensively and all report no performance gains until the 6.0 reaches 500+RWHP. Simply put the OEM Donaldson Powercore flows more air than the 6.0 can use until you reach 500+RWHP. By S&B own test data their air intake does not filter as well as the OEM Donaldson Powercore. It is your money but you will see no performance gains.
