okay i am having some trouble with the instrument panel on my 1987 ford f-150 at first i just notice the fuel gauge would stay on full then move just full when the truck is turned on. but now i have noticed that the battery amp gauge is always on 0 an when i turn on the passager turn signal the green arrow does not come one..it dings but there is no arrow. and the seat belt light no longer comes on..can anyone tell me what is wrong and where i need to start to fix it. it would be a big help to me.

Sounds like a fuse to me, have you checked all the fuses in the interior and in the engine bag?
i checked them when i first brought the truck home a few weeks ago but i will check them again in the morning. anything else that might be the problem?
Check sending unit grounds. Both my tanks show full. I'm going to replace the sending unit with one that has both a pump and sending unit. The unit grounds either to the chassis or, from what I hear, They ground with the taillights. Take a pencil and with the eraser end, tap the cluster in front of volt gauge, or slap the dash above it. Mine likes to stick and that cures it. And the truck is 28 years old. Most likely the bulbs are burnt out. Easy fix though. Bulb is available at ANY parts house. Matter of fact, I pulled the courtesy lights out of my Malibu under the dash and used one of them to replace a couple of burnt out lights in my dash. But also check the fuses. If the bulb is good and the fuse is good, look at the back of the cluster for bad traces or bad wires. There is 2 harnesses feeding the cluster. Just be careful of the speedo cable.
okay so i checked under the dash and saw no broken wires or bad traces. but i did find a little wire module i guess (i have no idea what they are called) that was unhooked but have no idea where it hooks back up at. there is no place for it to fit into any where near where it is at.
this is the clip any information is greatly appreciated
