Not mine, but near by, if anyone wants it checked out. Never heard of a 610

It's located about 10 miles N of Ithaca, NY

Looks like Holly Green, one of my favorite colors on a Ford.

No such thing as an F610 despite what the clueless seller claims. The series code (first 3 digits of the VIN) is probably F61, so the seller thinks it's an F610.

F61 = F600 2WD (gas). The model code stamped on the Warranty Plate defines the series and GVWR, could be F610 = F600 2WD (gas), 21,000 lbs. GVWR

If the model code was F600 = F600 2WD (gas), 19,500 lbs. GVWR

Mr. Clueless is unaware that the right/left hood emblems have been removed and the holes filled in: C7TZ-16720-E = F600.

Mr. Clueless is also unaware that the FORD letters should be evenly spaced across the front of the hood, instead of being clustered together at the center.

I guess since it doesn't exsist, it must be very rare indeed. I wonder what his title shows he has. Somebody is going to be surprised, sooner or later. lol

Bout the same with speedometer readings. These roll over and start fresh every 100,000 miles, so some guys will argue til they are blue in the face that my dad's truck only has 67,000 miles even after 50 years.

Cool truck regardless of the modifications. I gotta be honest, I kind of like the letters clumped like that...giving me ideas.

Went and took a look. A good 30 footer. Seat looked good, cab, fenders, hood holey. Brush paint. VIN F61DCB35xxx. I've got an 1970 F600 cab sitting on a trailer that's better. The flat bed is VG

It exists or it does not exist or did I read this wrong?

This guy says there's such a thing as an F610. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...in-decode.html

Amazing what blemishes don't show up in pics. Looks to be in good shape but totally different in person. Still it's a big F series and I always enjoy seeing them.

Yes-the door tag does say MODEL F610

Hey there Number Dummy...here is the Ford Tag attached to the cab door
The wheels are larger than the F600-and they are split rings vs split rims.
And no, we did not move the letters on the front of the hood..that is where they have always been
This should clear things up..as a picture is worth a thousand words..even if you do have a nasty tone..no need for that here.

I see you've come to join the forums welcome. You haven't owned the truck since new so you have no idea what's original on the truck and what's not. You said since 1985 in your CL posting. That leaves a lot of years for previous owners to "customize" to there liking. Now days these 40+ year old trucks are getting harder and harder to find just as they left the factory with no mods and repairs done.

1967/69 F800/1000 use a totally different cab (it's the same as 1961/66 F100/1100) than 1967/72 F100/750.

A picture is worth 1000 words.

Upper pic 1967/70 F100/750: Notice that the hood letters are spaced out, the location of the [F600] hood side emblems that are missing on this truck.

Lower (lower) pic: 1967/72 F500/750 instrument cluster.
