I finally got the go ahead from the wife a few weeks ago to get her some more power out of her 2010 Expedition. I picked up a Spectre CAI and a Gibson cat back Exhaust system off AutoAnything for a reasonable price. I put the CAI on last weekend and it was a little noisy in the cab and took some getting used to, although I did notice a little bit of an MPG gain over the week (looking at the lieometer she gained 3 tenths on average over 500 miles). Today it was time for the Gibson exhaust, you definitely need to be patient and get that rig in the air to maneuver the tail pipe over the rear end, if you doing it in the driveway on jack stands you will have to have the passengers side as far forward on the frame as you can (and maintain the balance). I also had to take down the rear anti-sway bar to allow the new pipe to clear. after that it was a pretty easy install and wholly crap was it worth it. The intake isn't noisy any more (I wonder how much back pressure the stock exhaust was creating) and it sounds like a truck now. and the wife is happy you can hardly tell the difference in the cab until you really get on it. all in all a good upgrade I can't wait to see what the MPG's are now.
