STOCK Wheels
I have a 2006 F350, 4WD, CC, long wheel base with stock 18" rims (275/70 R18). Can I get some information on:1)Can I swap with 18"wheels/tires from a NEWER truck 2008+? or even a 2011+
2) Can I swap with 20"wheels/tires from a NEWER truck 2008+? or even a 2011+
a. What would be needed - Reprogramming? New TPMS? Re-Learning sequence?
3) Backspacing on wheels - Are all NEWER years compatible? (I don't see myself going with lift or new suspension. Just going to keep it mainly stock)
3) Advantages/Dis-Advantages to going with a 20" setup? (Or just stick with 18" - which WON'T bother me. Just maybe looking for a "newer look"...)
TIA
2.) Yes
2a.) Beats me, My EX didn't have a factory TPMS, I use an aftermarket setup.
3.) Yes
3.) (the second #3
) Looks cooler, tires cost more.
I actually went backwards with my '05 EX and swapped my stock 16"s for '04 18" stock rims.
