I was going to new carpet as mine was nasty, ended up taking it out and used some purple power on the stains and used my pressure washer.... Came out beautiful.

Anyhow, the place I was going to buy the carpet from said their mocha was a match and they offer to mail me a sample swatch. I didn't take them up on it as I wanted to try pressure washing it. They had neon green and pink as well, Why I have no idea but the thought of it made me laugh

I agree with pirate. Take it out and try cleaning. I used something called Totally Awesome. Its a great cleaner you can get at any dollar store. Like its name says, it is really good. I soaked the carpet in sections and used a medium bristle scrub brush to get the grime out. I then pressure washed it to clean the soap/grime out and then draped it over my front porch railings to let it dry. I was amazed at how clean it came. I now do this every two years to help with my allergies.

Not bad for 360,000 miles, three kids and 3 dogs.

Yes, there is no need to take out the panels. Look at my 1st picture. You can see there what I took out.

My carpet wasn't able to be saved. A new carpet set was only $250 from stockinteriors. i went with a little darker than original for the seats and carpet.

The carpet was "buckskin" and I'm pretty sure it was around $250 or so. Mahogany Katskin seats. I spent a little more on the StP insulation, but it's not necessary. When I had it all apart, I gave the inside a good cleaning before putting down the insulation. 16 years of grit and grime.
