I just bought a truck that got repossed at a auction was originally a automatic now changed to a standard missing transfer case from axles rear drive shaft and front drive shaft but the main problem is I'm not getting any dash power straight wire the fuel pump and the truck runs but then dies can't turn over with the key have to jump at solenoid what can it be?
2001 Ford F-250 7.3 diesel I've checked all fuses all relays and fuel pump turns on if I straight wire truck will start with ether but will not stay running
I think most will agree you should stop using the ether.
Has it fired up without the ether?
Are the fender liners unbolted or hanging down?
How familiar with these trucks are you?
Check to see if the PCM is still present. It is a box to the left of the clutch/brake pedal. IDM is located in the DS fender well above where the mud flap would be.
