tire size help needed

Hi. I have a 96 crew cab 7.3 (f350). I'm on desperate need for some new tires. A good friend of mine is selling a set of 315/75 r16s. I'm running 295/75 r16s now. I've always been under the impression that obs ford 350's can clear 315's. These tires are an awesome deal for me but I don't wanna rub everywhere I go. Just wanna know of they'll clear. I eyed them up to my truck this evening and it looks like I'm good. But it's close enough I wanna know from someone for sure. Thanks in advance!

The 295's are 33.4" tall and the 315's are 34.6" tall. Not much height difference. General rule of thumb is that you can go up two tire sizes without any mods. You should be O.K.
