Can anyone point me to some valve covers that will clear roller rockers and are still set up for efi? I already have a 1 inch spacer between the upper and lower to alleviate some of the problem. I have bronco script valve covers now that clear fine but the oil filler neck is in the wrong place.
Thanks guys maybe on of y'all can straighten me out!
Ford used Crane made rockers on the Cobra engines and they used plain old stamped steel valve covers. The cast aluminum covers used on standard HO 5.0's can be made to fit with a minor mod to the inside of the cover.
I just pulled the trigger on some ford racing m6000 j302r. They look like the efi valve covers but are supposed to be taller . I hope they work. I'm running crower full rollers I can't remember the ratio. Any experience with these covers?
Your using racing like parts so I can see why "normal" valve covers don't fit.
No I don't have any experience with those parts. But I would think that any "tall" style cover should work fine.
I'm running a set of 1.7 Cobra roller rockers under the stock covers on my 96 E150's 351 with no contact. It's not the height of the covers, but the oil baffle inside that makes contact.
