Sitting getting emissions done now, hope it passes. But will check out the wiring when I get it back home. Thank you again. And will let you know if it passes or fails. The cel was off on my way here hope it stays off as there testing it
You do realize that once you pop a CEL, you have to go through a series of cycles before the system can be retested.
The CEL usually has emissions issues for it to activate and, hence, the reason it can't test unless cleared properly.
My wife's Volvo just had a overdrive solenoid fault which shows on her computer overview, but doesn't show up as a CEL and I was still able to pass a smog test here in CA.

I have the scanner that I cleared it myself. Emissions system passed just the tranny sensor was all that came up

But did you drive it 75 miles or so, 4-5 ignition off cycles, low speed and higher speed runs? This can several days to complete.
These all needs to happen for the PCM to determine the vehicle is ready for testing.

Oo yes drove the hell outta it lol. Made sure. But major concern isn't passing right now other than fixing.
You can always ask the testing tech to verify whether it's test ready. If you don't ask them to check first and it fails, they won't let you know it's going to fail. They tell me it's against the "rules" to ask questions.
They can only answer requests.

Not usually, ALWAYS. By law the ONLY way the CEL can turn on is when a fault is detected in something that the EPA has dictated affects emissions. They have a list, and if one of those items has a fault the CEL comes on.
