Head cc's?
I have some stock heads from an 84 E150 with a 302. Does anybody have a reference to a cc volume table for the various years. I'd like to have the compression ratio about 9.2-9.5:1.
What volume should I be looking for? My stock heads are in good shape but probably not ideal for performance due to the smog ports and what looks like high volume. I will be keeping the stock notched pistons.

I built a similar stock motor a few years ago and wanted a compression ratio of 9.5:1 and I believe my machinist picked out a set of flattops with 2 valve reliefs from silvolite or sealed power....can't remember what cc the heads are but basically just buy a true flattop piston with 2-4cc's of valve relief and you should be right where you wanna be.
