haha You know what Byron? When they come out with an OEM lift and associated hardware to make the safety equipment work, I'll install it
Thanks guys, I got my welder buddy to melt the tube to the end links over the weekend, and no more bobble head!! It's crazy what brand new suspension, steering gear, bushings, trackbar mount, and sway bar will do to the handling
Also, I spent all day Saturday finishing up on the last minute stuff preparing my truck for the trip down to Texas this summer... oil change, general clean up of old oil, check of the trans fluid, torque check on random bolts on suspension and undercarriage, and chasing the intermittent rough idle I have been noticing the last couple of months. The rough idle really concerned me because it felt the same as when one of my injectors had worked its way loose, lifted, and burned the copper washer. I actually had a set of injector o-rings ready to go in case that had happened again.. turns out all the injectors were still torqued properly, and this was my issue:
2/5 pins.. not good!!
Now she's ready to go!! I can't wait to get back to Texas...

hahahahaha, you know I am messing with you. Well done.
We all have that place that's "home" for us....we all know where my home is. Texas is a nice back-up.....since I am married to one and all. Glad you're headed back. Stoked for you!!!

Oh I know you were messing around
I was just thinking about fuel capacity and stuff last night talking to Eric... I have a 14 gallon front and 38 gallon rear, as well as (4) 5 gallon fuel cans. That comes to a total of 72 gallons of diesel... I could potentially go like 650 miles without filling up if I average 9 mpg... Holy crap!

I get between 250 and 300 out of the front and 150-250 out of the rear (probably showerhead issue); also depending on how much foam up I get at fill up....

The garage is officially partially packed... This means that if I need a tool that has already been put in a crate, I will buy another.
Lee, that's how I feel about it, I can hold off filling up until I find a place where my truck & trailer fits, or where there is a good price/gal.
Byron, I think Cali is a little out of my planned route, but we will definitely be planning a trip out there as soon as we can!
